So. I am looking to retrain myself in the use of a fountain pen.
The first obstacle I run into? I can’t get the pen to actually write consistently on paper. It’s that super-cheap recycling paper – is that why? Not absorbent enough? Not smooth enough? I’ll go call Caran d’Ache about it. They should know, right?
I took a sample of my writing right now. The idea is to document progress as I go.
Other lifehacks I’m undertaking:
I got back to practicing the pipes, after nearly 4 months of hiatus
I signed up for a class in Yiddish. That’s right, Yiddish. This will be interesting. I dread the Aleph-Bet a bit.
